Writers Tears Marsala Cask Irish Whiskey 700mL

Writers Tears Marsala Cask  finish is a combination of single pot still and single malt Irish whiskey was finished in 5 Marsala wine hogshead casks from the Florio winemakers in Sicily.

The result is a pleasingly sweet whiskey, with notes of apple, pear, sweet grapes, apricot, peach, vanilla, nutmeg, bright oak, white wine, toffee, peppery spice, caramelised malt and grassy cereals. The cask finish has lent fruity flavours, whilst retaining the fundamental profile of Irish single pot still whiskey.
