Balvenie Tun Batch 7 is the seventh batch of Balvenie Tun 1509! A hugely popular series of expressions from the distillery, named after the tun in which the whisky is married for three months before bottling up. This particular edition was made using whisky drawn from 21 handpicked casks, including ten sherry butts, seven sherry hogsheads and four American oak barrels. Following its marrying period, it was bottled up at 52.4% ABV.

Nose: Rich and deep, dried fruits, raisins, burst of ground ginger

Taste: Slightly peppery with candied orange, layers of honeycomb, toasted hazelnuts

Finish: Sweet and malty with oak, vanilla and spice
