The Balvenie 14 years Week of Peat is the second bottling in The Balvenie Stories collection. An improbable but perfectly appropriate offering from one of Scotland's most old-school and admired distillers. Once a week every year, the team in Banffshire fires up some local Speyside peat, infusing a batch of barley to make one of the most authenticly traditional whiskies of the region. Even with the peat, the whisky doesn't lose its tell-tale honey, citrus, fruit and malt character.

Official Tasting Notes

Nose - Gentle sweet peat smoke, lighter floral notes and delicate butterscotch honey.

Palate - Velvety and round to taste with the peat smoke balancing citrus flavours, oaky vanilla and blossom honey.

Finish - Gentle smoke with a lingering and creamy vanilla sweetness.
