Ichiro's Malt Wine Wood Reserve is finished in red wine casks, this distinctive whisky has a unique red wine nose with nut, berry and spice overtonesBottled at 46% with no added colouring and no chill-filtration, this whisky has been distilled matured, and bottled at Chichibu distillery.
Nose: Marmalade, figs, oak, chocolate, wood stain, soap.
Palate: Orange sherbert, Brazil nut, bitter chocolate, raisins, pepper.
Finish: Pepper, marmalade, raisins. Kind of bittersweet. Quite long, with hot spices on the palate and then butter menthols.
