This is one of the rare Akashi releases having been matured for 5 years in a first fill bourbon barrel before being bottled at 50% ABV. It is non chill filtered and has no added colour. 

Nose: Fruity notes of peach and nectarine give way to creamy vanilla and jelly sweets.

Palate: Hints of banana and freshly sanded wood ride alongside charred oak and toasted sourdough for a thick mouth-filling experience.

Finish: The finish is lingering and rounded out with dried stone fruit.

ABV: 50%
