Kirin Fuji Kunpu 2020 Blended Whisky 500mL

Kirin Fuji Kunpu whisky was first released as a limited edition in 2015. Kirin have produced a new bottling of the Kunpu each year since. All casks in this blend are hand selected by Master Distiller Jota Tanaka. Like the six previous bottlings, this one is only available at the Kirin distillery in Japan and is limited to a few thousand bottles.

Nose: Pineapple, passionfruit, papaya, walnuts, rye, pipe tobacco, white pepper.

Palate: Fruit Tingles, pineapple, walnut, passionfruit, cloves, kiwi fruit, papaya, hint of sweet yoghurt.

Finish: very much in the Kirin house style. Tropical and bourbonesque, smooth, wellbalanced, interesting and tasty. A very solid blend.

ABV: 40%
