Balvenie 21 Year Old Single Barrel is drawn from an refill American oak cask after a lengthy slumber, this expression has taken on oodles of familiar honeyed barley notes, making for a terrific post-dinner dram.

Nose: Delicate floral vanilla notes up front, with honeycomb, brioche, cinnamon, and maple syrup.
Taste: Treacle tart and more maple syrup, now with walnut, mature oak, and a touch of caraway.
Finish: Sufficiently oaky, with another drizzle of honey.
