This Nikka Taketsuru is a 12 year old blend from the Japanese distillers Nikka. Taketsuru is a vatting of Yoichi and Miyagiko single malts which won the 2012 world whisky for best non-scotch blended malt. Box included with bottle.

"Fruity, perfumed nose with apple, lemon licorice, vanilla and a tang of peat. Quite full bodied and nicely balanced with honey and cream, nutmeg, gentle peat, almond and butterscotch. Medium length finish with vanilla, eating apple, subtle smoke and a hint of brine."
